PSAS Site Council PSAS is a public charter school, and is affiliated with Colorado State University-Pueblo and Pueblo City Schools. CSU-P "holds the charter" and the charter says that the school must have a "site-based council" made up of parents and school staff members, to contribute to the operation of the school. The PSAS Advisory Site Council will be made-up of representatives from the following:Parents, faculty, students, business community, Sangre De Cristo Arts Center, CSU-Pueblo, Pueblo City Schools, PSAS Principal and CSU-Pueblo Provost. The duties and decisions of the Site Council include advising the Principal and CSU-Pueblo Provost on issues concerning budget, curriculum and instruction, personnel and school policies. All members of the Site Council agree to learn and practice listening with respect for all view points and make decisions in the best interest of the entire school. The Site Council is here to give PSAS families a chance to be involved with the making of school policy, influence the future direction of the school, and also to provide a forum for parents in an organized, comfortable environment. 2007-2008 PSAS Site Council| President | Christopher Markuson 583-6244(w)
